Hope
Shine a Light
1st of December 2020, I headed down to Marina Bay to photograph an outdoor light show installation entitled "Shine a Light", where 60 powerful light rays beamed up the night sky against the backdrop of the business district and Marina bay waterfront, it's the first nightly show that runs till the end of December.
In this image captured, the moon was an unexpected big bonus.
Silent lights
The display signifies hopes as a light at the end of this protracted Covid-19 pandemic. It moves in various formations, twisting, opening, closing, all in all very interesting, but no sound or music in the background to go with... the silence brought on a sense of helplessness, I wish life to return to the days of pre-covid-19.
Year 2020
Looking back at 2020, Covid-19 took center stage in much of the year, wreaking immeasurable havoc. After mid year, the world was dealt with further disappointment when the virus didn't go away quietly as what SARs did, the world had to concede it is staying here for the long haul, sian... ( singlish = sick of it )
For now as vaccines started rolling out, hopefully things could take a turn for the better.
While lamenting, the lights spread open in new formation, breaking my thoughts and blank stare, I focus and click...
Thank you for visiting
There is no philosophy behind this image, just a fluke shot captured during when the world is grappling with this virus outbreak which has of today's writing ( Feb 27, 2020 ) been awarded the name COVID-19 and a title aspiring an early discovery of vaccine and cure by leaps and bounds.
